Privacy policy

Menuet d.o.o. (“we”) collects and processes personal data to fulfil your rental booking. We comply with the Montenegrin Law on Personal Data Protection and apply GDPR-equivalent standards.

What we collect

• Identification: full name, date of birth, driving licence number, country of issue, passport / national ID.
• Contact: email, phone number, flight number (optional).
• Rental: pickup/dropoff dates and locations, selected vehicle, selected extras and protection tier.
• Payment: bank-transfer reference; when card payments are enabled, the tokenised payment reference returned by our payment provider.
• Operational: hand-over and return condition photos, odometer and fuel readings.

Why we collect it

• To create and manage your rental contract (legal basis: performance of a contract).
• To comply with Montenegrin tax, accounting and traffic-fine reporting obligations (legal basis: legal obligation).
• To handle accident, insurance and damage claims (legal basis: legitimate interest).
• To send transactional emails about your booking (no marketing without consent).

Where it is stored

Booking data is stored in a Supabase Postgres database hosted in the European Union. Emails are sent via Resend (EU region where available). Card payment data, when enabled, is processed by Monri Payments d.o.o. and is not stored on our servers.

How long we keep it

Booking and accounting records: 7 years (Montenegrin tax law). Hand-over photos: 2 years from the rental end date, after which they are deleted. Marketing-subscription data: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing menuatcarrentals@gmail.com. Note that deletion requests cannot override our legal obligation to retain accounting records for the statutory period.
